Dipl.-Chem. Dr. Peter Roos
German and European Patent and Trademark Attorney


Peter Roos obtained his diploma in Chemistry at the Rheinisch-Westfälische Technical University of Aachen in Germany in 1987.

In 1990 he completed his doctorate in organometallic chemistry. His thesis deals with “Cyclopentadienyl coordination compounds of niobium”.

Special areas of study included inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, technical chemistry, physical chemistry and macromolecular chemistry as well.

In 1990 he began his training in intellectual property law at Türk Gille Hrabal. He continued his training at the German Patent Office, the Federal Patent Court and The District Court in Munich.

After passing the German patent attorney’s examination in 1993, he worked for Türk Gille Hrabal as an associate.

In 1994 he was admitted as a patent attorney in Germany. In 1995 he was admitted to practice before the European Patent Office.

1997 he started working in the patent and licensing department of a leading German pharmaceutical-chemical company.

There he was responsible for the world-wide protection of pharmaceuticals.

In addition he was responsible for the education of employees in the area of patent and licensing
